WHY DO I LOVE MYSELF

It feels as consciousness moves forward, we are being asked once again To know ourselves better. This Seems To Be A repeating Trend Ive Seen Over The Past Few Months. Asking us the collective To Not Find Comfort In the People and Things Around us But Find Comfort from Within. Why do i Love Myself? asking this question to the feeling of what it feels like to be me. Rather than finding reasons outside of myself, I Turn Inwards. Finding a new reason Something we don't know yet, Something That comforts Us. Tuning into ourselves may seem as if we are separating From The Present. But going within is how we grow closer together And Further Become Present in Ourselves. When We Go Inward We Influence The Energy of Those Around Us To Do The Same Further Allowing Us To Be In Collective Connection Without Awareness.

FEBRUARY NEW MOON

The NEW MOON has passed, and with it dreams bring new beginnings. Showing us a pIcture of the unnecessary baggage we have been able to shed over the last month. This is why we are at this moment Again being asked to go inward as we are cleansed from another MOON cycle of toxic energies. The Collective Light Continues To Purify Itself From Past Trama. Feeling More Free and Light We All Catch flow in Growing Tides of Consciousness Caring Us Into The Spring. Individuality and Creativity Light Up Over The Next Couple Months.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner Giving us a perfect opportunity to share our love with each other. A day where we raise collective love, anchoring more light into our everyday. With all the new growth, this Valentine's Day is particularly special in It’s Timing. look for more creative and inventive Ways to spend the day with each other. Doing something new will keep You in that Rhythm, Filtering Into The Collective, setting the stage for an early spring full of creative in The Moment light. We are at the threshold of seasonal energy with strong emotional holidays like Valentine's Day This Is No Coincidence How We Act Towards Eachother Within Transitional Energy Will Influence How We Do In the Future.

SPIRITUAL RECIPE

ITALIAN MINESTRA

This vegetable dish is super healthy and full of vitamins and antioxidants. It has been a family favorite since I was a kid. My Nonnie from Northern Italy would make this for us every Sunday. She passed this down to my Mom and now I enjoy making it, and we want to share this healthy, vitamin-packed, tasty recipe with all of you. 

KALE

An antioxidant and a member of the superfood group.

* Associated with the Heart Chakra. Love, kindness and compassion for yourself and others. 

CARROT

An antioxidant and a Source of VIT A (beta carotene) - so good for your eyes! They are also a great source of several vitamin B vitamins, as well as vitamin K.

* Associated with the Sacral Chakra. Governs how you experience sexuality, creative expression, expression, emotions, and more. 

 

STRING BEANS

A rich source of vitamins A,C, and K and of folic acid and fiber. They have various health benefits, such as helping manage depression and bone health. Vitamin K is a Carrier Molecule that carries Calcium to your bones.

* Associated with the Heart Chakra. Love, kindness and compassion for yourself and others. 

ONION

Onions are rich in B vitamins, including folate and vitamin B6.

*Associated with the Crown Chakra. Wisdom and Spirit

TOMATO

Tomatoes offer several research-backed benefits, including protection for brain, heart, and gut health. 

*Associated with the Root Chakra. Gives us a sense of stability and feeling grounded. 

GARLIC

An antioxidant, an antibiotic and has been found to reduce inflammation. 2 Gloves of Crushed Garlic is said to Be Equal To a 250mg Amoxicillin. I can Contest This!

*Associated with the Solar Plexus. Associated with the regulation of your fears, sense of power, and gut feelings.

Ingredients

½ cup Water

½ tsp of Salt 

½ tsp Pepper

4 tablespoons of grated Romano Cheese

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 chicken bullion

3 Zucchini

5 Carrots

1 onion

1 Tomato

½ clove of garlic

2 cups of StringBeans

Cut up all vegetables except String Beans (leave them whole) and put them into a Sauce Pot with the water. Add Bullion and the rest of the Ingredients. Let simmer on low/medium heat; until green beans are cooked to your liking. Usually about 20-30 minutes

NEW SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

BENEFITS OF DRY BRUSHING

Although this is a fairly new trend, this self-care practice has existed for centuries. It was traditionally an Ayurvedic ritual of gently exfoliating the skin (while dry), using a special bristle brush, this Practice stimulates circulation, increases lymphatic flow and Moves galvanized energy From The Skin. This Energy that lies on the top of the skin can be thought of as a static which can block the sensation of external energies. Removing This Energy With A Simple Brushing Technique Will Increase the Purity Of The Energy That Enters Your Body. 

I have been doing this practice for several months and have significantly noticed changes in my skin and Energy. Once I removed all the dead skin cells it felt as if I had removed stagnant Energy from my body, and felt an instant sense of clarity and lightness within my Energy. The appearance of my skin has changed dramatically also, leaving it more supple and glowing.  You don’t realize the heaviness of the dead skin cells until it’s removed. It’s truly an amazing routine I’ve fallen into and would highly recommend trying it out. 


DRY BRUSHING TIPS

Make sure you choose the right brush. (some can be abrasive)

Natural Fibers with firm bristles that are strong enough to help stimulate and remove dead skin cells without scratching the skin.

  • I purchased my brush at Walgreens for $8.00. I’ve found the rounded brushes work the best so you can use circular motions while brushing, and choose Wood over Plastic backing. The wood is more grounding and helps stimulate blood flow as well.

Dry Brush your skin before your Shower

You want to dry brush before your shower so the skin that was loosened by brushing can be rinsed off. Use light pressure, the brush does the work for you, so no need to scrub hard. You don’t want to scratch the skin or have it be painful.

Always use strokes of brushing toward the heart

The Direction of the strokes should always be toward the heart for that is the direction of your circulatory system. Tracy Adkins (an Ayurvedic practitioner) suggests this and in my experience, I feel it definitely makes a difference. 

Apply Oil after brushing

Applying oil after brushing is great for restoring moisture and balance to the skin after brushing. I usually wait 5 minutes before jumping in the shower to rinse. (Oil is recommended but not imperative, you can always moisturize after your shower. If you do decide to oil before the shower, be careful as you rinse it off as the shower floor could become slippery. Another issue I’ve run into in my experience.  lol.  Not fun ;)

FEBRUARY SPIRITUAL CHANNELING

I feel Spirit wanted to touch on the subject of Unconditional Love and what it truly means; and with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I thought I would share with everyone.

Unconditional Love is loving with no bounds. It means never having to say Sorry. Just a knowing that the other understands you and knows your true heart.  To Love Unconditionally is to love constantly, and stay through the not-so-shiny moments, the arguments, the hurt. It's loving even when it seems hard to Love. Unconditional Love is a slightly higher vibration of Love; this consists of loving through and through. Through the ugly, Through the Hurt, Through the Pain. Through Emotions that you didn’t even know existed. You truly have to understand yourself and love on yourself in a completely selfless manner to offer unconditional love. There is no blaming or shame unto that unconditional love for that person, it’s just there staring you in the face with a smile; even if you're broken.

 Imagine… Just for a moment how that might feel. To know you have that from either side. Really, think about it.

 How fucking gratifying that unconditional love would feel from either side. Pretty Amazing. Someone who loves you no matter what. No matter the consequence.

 This is Pure True Unconditional  Love. It’s a feeling most people think of when they think of their children or parents, but not seen so much in relationships or marriages. People get caught up in the Emotions of everything, and I’m not saying to not feel the hurt or pain but what I am saying is to stop and think of why things are happening or why they might have happened. Don’t make things so black and white. If there is a problem it can always be resolved, especially when there is unconditional love involved. When you have a person in your life who has unconditional love for you there are no mistakes. Realize that Sometimes the people who treat you the worst are the people teaching the lessons. Always flip the script and see things from a different perspective. Like “ What is it I’m learning from this?” Why did this happen? Try not to hold on to the emotions for too long, because, in the end, you are truly only hurting yourself by holding these negative emotions within your body. Remember Negative emotions/Energies are something we have taken on during our life here on Earth and are something we can heal with Energy work. 

The one thing to remember here is that we are all beings of love and light. The Heart's true nature is to love. Throughout life, Guilt, fear, jealousy, and misbeliefs imprint negativity on our precious hearts.  When we are children we know nothing else, but Love. As We get older we tend to get stuck in a wheel of negative patterned emotions, we are human, and that's okay. Always remember, Underneath all that hurt is still a heart that only knows love.
